Season 2023 - Volunteering Levy FAQ
If I have chosen to volunteer for the club what do those roles look like?
Thank you for choosing to volunteer. You can volunteer on the weekly roster for any of the Bar, BBQ and Canteen roles.
I want to volunteer but 3 hours is too long?
Your 3 hours is accumulative across the entire season. The smallest amount of time in one sitting is 1 hour.
What makes me exempt from the Volunteer Levy?
You can volunteer at Mitcham in a variety of ways. You are exempt from the volunteer Levy if you volunteer in any of the following ways for the entirety of the season
- Coach
- Ass. Coach
- Team Manager
- First Aid (away games)
- Ground Marshall
- Runner
- Goal Umpire
- Boundary Umpire
- Time Keeper
I have paid the volunteer Levy. Does this mean I'm exempt from the team roles (mentioned above)?
No, your team managers and children need these roles filled on a weekly basis in order for the game to go ahead. The volunteer Levy relates to roles such as Bar, BBQ and Canteen.
I have already volunteered for 3 hours but want to get further involved in the club?
We have a range of roles needing to be filled to assist the executive members in merchandise and fundraising, etc. Please don't hesitate to reach out to any of your six (6) executive members to help with roles.
We still have roles waiting to be filled for this weekend. Please follow the link below to enter your name as soon as possible.
