1908 Club

1908 Club Members

A couple of seasons ago, the 1908 Club was rejuvenated and has grown to where members have raised approximately $10,000 for the Mitcham Hawks over the past few seasons.

In Season 2024 we would like to continue the growth of the 1908 Club as the official fund raising arm of the club. We are seeking the support from past players, club members, parents and anyone from all grades. Anyone can join. Your name goes up on the 1908 Club sectrion of the website.

Hawks are one of only three or four metropolitan clubs that existed before World War I and have not merged, closed down or lost identity.

A big history indeed!

We have been blue and gold since 1946 and have been located at Price Memorial Oval for over 90 seasons, losing the oval only during the great Depression and the WWII years.

The Mitcham Football Club is a survivor but always needs sponsors and a dedicated supporter/past player base to help with finances. A large footy alumini can establish a constant reliable fundraising base for the club.

Season 2024 - FREE CASH DRAW FOR 1908 CLUB MEMBERS

At all Season 2024 home matches a 1908 Club Member draw for a $50 prize (either in cash or a bar voucher) will be held at half time. Every 1908 Club Member is given a unique number at the start of the season.

Winners will be required to be in attendance (except for interstate members or country members). If the winner is not present at the game, the draw jackpots for the next home game. The winner will have their photo taken for social media and Hawk Talk.
