Our 2026 Junior Football Season Launch and Meet the Coaches event is being held on Friday March 6 from 4:30pm at our home ground, Rowett Constructions Oval.
We are excited to be launching our Junior Football program for 2026 with an exciting playing group, new teams and a lot of promise for what should be an outstanding year, both on and off field.
Our Season Launch and Meet the Coaches event is a great opportunity to get out to Mitcham for ahead of the upcoming season, get your hands on a footy, get back around your teammates and get all the information you'll need for a successful and enjoyable footy season.
Below is a schedule for the afternoon/evening along with an oval map to tell you when and where to be, with our younger grades kicking off from 4:30pm through to our older groups around 6:30pm.
At 6:00pm, Club President, Daniel Hardy, will address those in attendance to welcome new and returning players and their families, and provide information about the club and our Junior Program for 2026. If you can't be there at this time, please address any questions or queries you may have to your grade's Coach and/or Team Manager, and keep an eye on our email and social media communications over the coming weeks.
Please note, this is a sneakers/sandshoes only event. While we are able to use our oval for this session, we ask you do not wear or bring football boots as the cricket season is ongoing. We will be taking occupancy of the oval back from April 2026.
The clubrooms and bar will be open and operating for this event, so please come in and have a drink and say hello!
